Club 100 For Ladies is closing in on its target of signing up 200
female ambassadors to represent the Nashua Largest Ever Bikini Photo
Shoot in Port Elizabeth on October 23.
By mobilising family and friends as participants and sponsors,
ambassadors will help to break the current Guinness World Record, raise
much-needed funds for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa)
and also stand a chance to win prizes worth thousands of rands.

Church leaders call for hospital volunteers, end to strike |

A group of senior church leaders from Nelson Mandela Bay has called on
members of the public around the Eastern Cape to volunteer in the state
hospitals that have been affected by the national civil servants strike.
“We are abhorred by the situation at state medical facilities,” say the leaders in a statement.
They are Catholic Bishop Michael Coleman, Pastor Patrick Douglas-Henry,
head of the Apostolic Faith Mission, Pastor Neville Goldman of the
Ebenezer Christian Centre, Bishop Lunga ka Siboto, head of the
Episcopal Church, Methodist Bishop Musi Losaba, Ds Danie Mouton, head
of the NG Church in the Eastern Cape, Anglican Bishop Bethlehem Nopece,
and the Rev Mkhuseli Bashman of the Presbyterian church.

Mike Meyer, SA Whale Disentanglement Network (SAWDN), said: “Boaters
and the public, in the Eastern Cape, between Plettenberg Bay and East
London, are being asked to keep a close “eye out” for the adult female
Humpback whale that is entangled in netting and is expected to be in
this area accompanied by her approximately 1 month old calf.

The government that we voted into power today doesnt see the need to give workers what they want, whilst in 3 weeks ago, he was pleadin with citizens not to distrupt the world cup and now citizens are pleading with him for money but he cant supply it. And the sad part is that it's only the workin class society that is on strike and the affected people are also the working class and thier children, I say this becuase teachers on strike are of the public sector and so that means their own children are not studing because they are the one in public schools and then how do we expect them to get 38 points for admission at universities?
